Meram Sehit Kubilay Kindergarten

Meram Sehit Kubilay Anaokulu is a state kindergarten established in 2001 in Meram, Konya, Turkey. There are 10 teaching staff at school . The backyard of the kindergarten has a playground and there are also two swimming pools, beautifully surrounded with flowers and fountains where kids can play even in the warm weather. In classrooms we have smart boards, projectors, computers with internet connection, TVs and music systems in all classrooms. In addition to all these there are also a projection system, a cinema wall, an organ for music classes and a place covered by mirrors for cultural activities. We have morning and afternoon groups in 6 classes, and 4 full-shift classes running from the morning until the evening. There are 20-22 kids in each class and the total number of kids is 224.

Even though Meram Şehit Kubilay Anaokulu has had a lot of success in competitions in local, regional and national levels, it has never had the chance to show their skills on an international level and this is why we want to be in this project. We will surely learn from our partners and teach them what we know. Exchanging good practices and innovation will bring all partners new opportunities.
Pre-school teachers with a variety of skills will be involved in the project. The main selection criteria ensures that all participants are able to speak English, to have professional and personal ethic experience, morality and are willing to participate in project activities. Participants have experience and skills in working with children and providing guidance/encouragement, motivation in personal development and self-discovery activities; have assertive communication skills in working with kids to get them to open up and ask for support, worked with parents, educators and collaborators for various educational institutions and universities, have different specialized publications, a good reputation through their colleagues and have been working in teams for a long time.
